The 911 Office, often referred to as E911, functions within the Charlotte County Sheriff’s Office, operating under the authorization of the Charlotte County Board of County Commissioners (BOCC). This newly introduced annual report seeks to provide the BOCC, the Charlotte County Sheriff and relevant stakeholders with fiscal, technical, operational, and strategic planning information, as well as providing updates on critical infrastructure investments and additional highlights related to Charlotte County’s 911 System for the year 2023.
