9-1-1 Public Education Programs

9-1-1 Educational Programs designed for children

Cell Phone Sally educational video campaign is to inform children how to call 9-1-1 using different communication devices. Cell Phone Sally’s message encourages children to verify their cellular phone number, as well as to identify landmarks when making a cellular 9-1-1 call, in order to ensure that emergency response arrives at the correct location.

Red E Fox education campaign includes video of Red E Fox and appearance of Red E Fox Robot. This program message encourages children to verify their landline number, as well as to verify address of 9-1-1 call, in order to ensure that emergency response arrives at the correct location. This program has Red E Fox interact with student using a pretend phone to dial 911 and a game show to see if they understand what is an emergency or and what is not.

We conduct these educational presentations within the local schools and attend public events to raise awareness about 9-1-1.  The Cell Phone Sally and Red E. Fox programs are geared towards Pre-k to 2nd grade student.

If you would like to schedule a presentations, please contact the 911 Manager Laurie Anderson  at 941-575-5339 or by email at landerson@ccsofl.net
